Choosing Your Course to Study
As an Affiliated College of Australian College of Theology (CRICOS 02650E), QTC is approved to teach a great range of ACT courses for a great range of people. When choosing a course you need to consider how much time you can afford to spend studying (ranging from 1 semester to 3 years full-time), whether you need to study full-time or part-time, and importantly what you are hoping to use your study for – that is, which area of ministry you would like to serve in in future. Your choice of course will also be influenced by factors such as your OP (for students under 21), or whether or not you have a uni degree already.
If you can’t enrol in a full course of study straight away, you can enrol in individual units of study, with the potential for credit into an ACT course at a later date. (For more information, see Section 5.9 of the ACT Coursework Course Enrolment Policy.) If you are currently studying at another registered higher education provider, you may be able to study some units for credit with QTC. Please contact the Registrar at [email protected] for details.
To get more of an idea of what is involved if you successfully enrol in a course check out our Studying at QTC page.
